Joshua Monson Storms to First USRA Hobby Stock National Title CLEAR LAKE, Iowa - The 20-year-old Clear Lake, Iowa, racer won at eight tracks and took home $1,700 with a Saturday night victory at the USRA Nationals. Joshua Monson made the number on his door the story of his season. The 20-year-old from Clear Lake, Iowa, drove his No. 25 to 25 feature wins on his way to the 2026 QuickCar Racing Products USRA Hobby Stock National Championship, his first career USRA national title. Monson was a threat to win wherever he unloaded. In 66 feature starts, he racked up 25 wins, 51 top-five finishes and 59 top-10s. His consistency made him tough to catch in the national standings. The No. 25 reached victory lane at eight tracks during the season. Monson won at Chateau Speedway, Cresco Speedway, Deer Creek Speedway, Fayette County Speedway, Hamilton County Speedway, Lucas Oil Speedway, Mason City Motor Speedway and Winneshiek Raceway. Joshua claimed a Track Championship at the Mason City Motor Speedway and picked up a 4th place at the Chateau Speedway and took runner-up at the Deer Creek Speedway title runs. One of his biggest wins came on Saturday night at the USRA Nationals. Monson took the checkered flag in the Hobby Stock main event at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, pocketing $1,700 and adding a Nationals victory to his championship season.
