USRA Limited Mod National Championship ELIZABETH, La. — Ethan Bailes made every start count in 2026, putting together a remarkable season to capture his first Brinn Inc. USRA Limited Mod National Championship. The 36-year-old driver from Elizabeth, Louisiana, powered his No. E8 to 13 feature victories in just 26 starts, winning half of the feature events he entered. His championship campaign also included 22 top-five finishes and 25 top-10 performances, leaving him outside the top 10 just once all season. That combination of winning speed and relentless consistency made Bailes a force each time he unloaded. He collected victories at Boothill Speedway, Sabine Speedway and Super Bee Speedway, building his national championship season on success at multiple Louisiana tracks. Along the way, Bailes added another title to his résumé by securing the track championship at Sabine Speedway in Many, Louisiana. Capturing both a track title and the national crown capped a season that gave the No. E8 team plenty to celebrate. Bailes will receive $3,000 for his national championship when he is honored at the USRA National Banquet at the Ameristar Casino and Hotel in January.
