Micro Championship Weekend at Lil Texas Motor Speedway Canceled Due to Forecast

Belleville, IL. (October 27, 2026) – An unfavorable forecast calling for rain from Thursday night through Saturday afternoon has forced Factory Fourteen NOW600 National Series, POWRi, and Texas Motor Speedway officials to cancel this weekend’s (October 29-31) Championship Weekend, which was scheduled to feature the NOW600 National Series in conjunction with the POWRi Micro divisions. “With the current diesel prices and the high chance of rain on Thursday night and all day Friday, it just doesn’t make logical sense to go down for a one-night show,” said NOW600 Series Founder Terry Mattox. “We wanted to get our last weekend of racing in, but after looking at other options for the weekend, we are in the same boat weather-wise.” All pre sold tickets purchased through My Race Pass will be fully refunded via their original purchase method. Congratulations to the 2026 NOW600 National Champions: Jett Nunley in Hyper Racing Non-Wing and Permastone Countertop Solutions A-Class, Levi Ballard in CSI Shocks Restricted, and Wesson Whitaker in Sawyer Chassis Junior Sprints. Up next for POWRi, the action moves across the street to the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track, November 5–7, for the Deuces Wild Championship Weekend! The POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprints will be joined by the POWRi Heartland Late Model Tour and American Racer Modified Series for the season-ending event. Additional information about Texas Motor Speedway and the Dirt Track can be found at www.texasmotorspeedway.com. Texas Motor Speedway is located at 3545 Lone Star Circle, Fort Worth, Texas 76177.
